Wheel Offset Calculator

Changing wheel width or ET moves the wheel relative to the fender and suspension. Enter the current and new sizes to see exactly how much inner clearance and outer position change.

How it works

Half the width difference (converted to mm) splits between inside and outside; the offset change then shifts the whole wheel. Positive outer change means the wheel sticks out more (closer to the fender); negative inner change means less clearance to the suspension. Verify there is no rubbing before fitting.

Frequently asked questions

What does a lower ET do?

A lower (or more negative) ET moves the wheel outward, closer to the fender, which gives a wider stance but can cause rubbing or extra bearing load.

How do I know if it rubs?

Compare the new outer and inner positions against your fender clearance and suspension travel. If in doubt, test-fit the wheel and turn lock-to-lock over bumps.
